Each piece of hand crafted jewelry created by EstelleJoyLynn is one of a kind. Like snowflakes, no two pieces are exactly alike. You may see variations in designs/color/size. Many times our Artists enjoy mixing metals. Therefore our jewelry may have silver, gold or rose gold within one piece of jewelry.
All of our earrings are light weight for all day/evening wear!
Be sure to remove any EJL jewelry prior to showering and/or swimming for long-lasting wear.
We do our best to source hypo-allergenic materials for our earring hooks that are nickel free. However, it is impossible to know what everyone’s skin sensitivity is. To keep costs down, the types of material we source for our earring hooks/findings are nickel free, stainless steel, 925 silver, 14K gold filled, 14K gold plated and others. Since we do not manufacture the earring hooks/findings, we cannot guarantee which materials / metals are in each at this time.
We cannot make any claim as to the metals in our repurposed vintage US History jewelry. During WW I and WW II solid gold and sterling silver were scarce. Manufacturers had to create jewelry from a multitude of different metals which are not defined on individual pieces of jewelry. The importance is more about the history and story behind of each piece of vintage War jewelry and not the metal it’s made from. In addition, some of the patina may be worn off of these vintage pieces.
